Kindergarten Enrollment Children must be 5 years old by September 1, 2014 in order to enter kindergarten.  This is a change for ACS that the Board approved.  This date aligns ACS with the state mandated age.  The Kindergarten Readiness ACT, signed into law in 2010, changed the entry date to September 1. Our 7th and 8th graders spent 4 days at Mother Lode River Center recently for their yearly camping trip which includes rafting on the South Fork of the American River, and engaging in group problem solving and personal challenges like the “leap of faith,” zip line, and climbing wall.Read More →
